C. glabrescens (Boiss. & Kotschy ex Rech. fil.) Leblebici in Bitki 1: 406 (1974). Syn: Calamintha glabrescens Boiss. & Kotschy ex Rech. fil. in Öst. Bot. Zeitschr. 99:62, 63 f. 12 (1952)!
Plant glaucescent-green, glandular-pruinose, lacking long hairs. Stems ascending, slender, 10-25 cm. Median leaves 10-20 x 12-16 mm, ovate, entire or nearly so. Verticillasters (l-)2-5, densely 6-many-flowered. Bracteoles lanceolate, 1/2-3/4 x calyces. Calyx slightly curved, 7-8 mm, glandular-pruinose, sub-bilabiate; teeth porrect, subulate, rarely ciliolate, upper teeth c. 2 mm, lower to 2.5-3 mm. Corolla pale mauve, 9-12 mm. Fl. 7. Limestone rocks, 1100-2000 m.

Endemic. Ir.-Tur. element. Very close to C. stamineum, and perhaps not specifically distinct. In the Ehrendorfer gathering, the calyx teeth (like the bracteoles) vary from non-ciliate (as in the type) to ciliolate.
